My wife and I recently came back from a ten-day trip to Portugal. It was a delight and great joy for us to get acquainted with such a warm country, both in a literal and figurative sense. Presently, I would like to search through my own handbooks, encyclopedias and other books to ascertain more knowledge about Portugal and Europe in general. However, it was our fascinating and charming guide, Maria, who laid the foundation for our interest in Portugal. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Maria for her truly encyclopedic knowledge, overall love and fascination with the country. Maria was not only an erudite and brilliant narrator, but also a caring hostess, who was able to foresee and anticipate the desires of all her guests. My wife and I were very pleased with how quickly all thirty guests/tourists, who came from Canada, the United States and Russia, became friends, were respectful of each other and attentive to each other’s needs. On the last day of the trip, we all exchanged e-mails and telephone numbers which to me indicated the absolute sincerity and compatibility of our group. One cannot help but admire the drivers of our buses, who treated their hard work professionally on ‘serpentine’ roads in the mountains and on the narrow streets of various Portuguese cities. Furthermore, dear Irina, it is impossible not to thank you and your staff for the tremendous planning of this wonderful trip to Portugal! Although, this could not be doubted, seeing as my wife and our relatives and friends who came to Canada had the experience of traveling around the world with your travel agency, we can only say positive things about your company, with great admiration and gratitude for the organization and coordination of your trips.
