Ireland, whose capital is Dublin, is one of the oldest countries in Western Europe and the only independent Celtic state in the world. Chronicles mention the high kings who ruled the country even in the times of the first pharaohs (2950 BC), although historians have so far only been able to confirm rulers from the 5th century AD.
Ireland is a lush green island that has always attracted conquerors, whether Vikings, Berber pirates, or the English. But even with such a grim history, the Irish have always been considered a nation of scholars: Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw, James Joyce, Bram Stoker, Jonathan Swift, and many others were born and lived here.
Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, will immerse you in the world of ancient legends and fairytale castles, introduce you to extraordinary nature, and take you to the most interesting and mysterious corners.
Each of the capitals is unique and distinct, welcoming tourists with numerous ancient cathedrals and unique monuments from different eras.

June 14 - Full-day excursion to southern Scotland, passing through stunning landscapes. Our first stop is the most romantic and oldest estate in Scotland, Traquair House, which celebrated its 900th anniversary in 2007. Once owned by Scottish kings, it is now home to descendants of the Stuarts, who have carefully preserved it for future generations. The white estate is located on the banks of the Tweed River, surrounded by wooded hills. Built in 1107, the estate is closely connected to the history of Mary Stuart. We will explore rooms with ancient interiors and a museum of relics, learn about the history of the Stuart clan, and take a walk through the beautiful garden. We will also visit an old brewery where delicious ale is brewed.
Next, we will visit the estate of the famous Scottish writer and poet Walter Scott, Abbotsford, located in southern Scotland. In 1811, Walter Scott purchased 100 acres of land on the southern bank of the Tweed River and began constructing a mansion in the old Scottish baronial style, naming it Abbotsford. The estate was completed in 1824. This is where Walter Scott lived, wrote novels, and hosted intellectuals from across Europe. The house is still owned by his descendants. Return to Edinburgh. Night in Edinburgh.
June 15 - In Scotland, there are few places as historically significant as Scone Palace, once the residence of Scottish royal dynasties. The palace housed the Stone of Destiny, upon which Scottish kings were crowned. The palace is an elegant Georgian building with exquisite interiors. The current owner, the 8th Earl of Mansfield, lives with his family on the first and third floors, while the rest of the palace and the magnificent surrounding park are open for visitors.
