Tour Program (Arrival on Thursday)

Day 1 (Thursday)
Arrival in Lisbon. Meet and greet at the airport with a company representative. Transfer from the airport to the hotel in Lisbon.
Check-in at the hotel. Distribution of vouchers with departure times for excursions. Free time.

Day 2 (Friday)
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time.
For guests who wish to spend the day actively:
Optional Excursion starting at 13:00. Payment for the excursion is required when booking the tour!
Excursion (6 hours) to Sintra, including a visit to Pena Palace, the fairy-tale village of Azenhas do Mar, and stops at the Guincho beaches for a stroll — $115 per person.
(Tickets to Pena Palace are included).

Day 3 (Saturday)
Breakfast at the hotel. Our journey begins with a visit to the Queluz Palace. This architectural masterpiece is often referred to as the "Portuguese Versailles" due to its magnificent architecture and lush gardens. Immerse yourself in history as you wander through long corridors and explore each room, each telling its own story.

Next, we head to the Quinta da Regaleira. This mystical place is filled with secrets and mysteries related to the Freemasons. The vast park, labyrinths, hidden passages, and, of course, the majestic manor create a unique atmosphere where reality and fantasy intertwine.

Then we will proceed to Cape Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Here, you will feel the power of the Atlantic Ocean as you stand at the edge of the continent. This spot, where land meets the endless ocean, offers indescribable emotions.

After our adventure, we will return to Lisbon, where you will have free time. You can explore the city on your own or simply relax after a busy day, reflecting on your journey through the most unique and beautiful places in Portugal.

Day 4 (Sunday)
Breakfast at the hotel. The morning begins with check-out and an exciting panoramic tour of majestic Lisbon. Our first stop will be the impressive April 25th Bridge, which connects the shores of the Tagus River. From this bridge, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the city.

Next, we’ll visit the Christ the King statue, overlooking Lisbon and seemingly blessing it. The viewpoint near the statue offers a panoramic vista of the city and the river.

Our journey continues to the Belém district, where we will visit the Jerónimos Monastery, a gem of Manueline architecture, the historic Belém Tower standing right by the water, and the Monument to the Discoveries, towering over the riverbank.

After this, we’ll delve into the historic center of Lisbon. We’ll stroll through narrow streets, admire ancient buildings, squares, and other architectural landmarks.

In the afternoon...

Excursion: Mafra — José Franco Village — Ericeira.
Mafra is home to the magnificent royal palace, one of the most important Baroque monuments in Portugal. Here, you can explore the unique royal library, learn about the lives of monarchs and their court, and feel the atmosphere of old Portugal.

Next, we will head to the charming José Franco Village, where time seems to stand still. You’ll immerse yourself in the traditions and daily life of the locals, and enjoy a traditional village lunch featuring dishes made from local ingredients. This is a fantastic opportunity to taste the best of Portuguese cuisine.

Our journey will conclude in Ericeira, a resort town situated on the Atlantic coast. This picturesque town is known for its beautiful beaches, perfect for surfing, cozy fishing cottages, and a lovely promenade. A stroll here brings a sense of peace and harmony.

In the evening, enjoy dinner with a Fado performance.

Day 5 (Monday)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel in Lisbon with your luggage.
Excursion to the towns of Tomar and Coimbra.

Our journey begins in the magnificent Coimbra, a city of students and medieval romance. Known for its oldest university in Portugal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, you’ll immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the old town, where every corner breathes history and culture.

Next, we will head to Tomar, the City of the Templars. This town will impress you with its Convent of Christ, a monumental building with a long and fascinating history. As you stroll through the streets of Tomar, you can feel the spirit of past centuries and learn many interesting facts about the Knights Templar and their mission.

After a day filled with exploration, we will travel to Porto, a vibrant and colorful city in northern Portugal. Upon arrival, you will check into a comfortable hotel where you can relax after a long day.

Evening in Porto is a great opportunity to enjoy Portuguese cuisine, take a stroll along the Douro River promenade, or simply unwind at the hotel, recharging for the next day of adventures.

 

Day 6 (Tuesday)

Welcome to the ancient city of Porto! This city not only dazzles with its architectural heritage but also captivates with the incredible atmosphere where past and present intertwine.

Our sightseeing tour will begin with a panoramic overview of the city’s main attractions, including the historic center, the famous São Bento Railway Station, and the magical Dom Luís I Bridge.

We will place special emphasis on the wine cellars. Porto is renowned for its legendary port wine, and you will have a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in its production process. The underground cellars, where this noble drink matures over the centuries, will amaze your imagination. A tasting of port wine will allow you to appreciate the depth and richness of its flavor.

Next, we will embark on a cruise along the Douro River. From the water, you will enjoy stunning views of the city, its rooftops, bridges, and hills. Relish the moment and feel the romance of Porto.

We will conclude our tour with a return to the city, where you will have free time in the afternoon.

Excursion: Aveiro — Costa Nova — Gondola Cruise.

Aveiro: Known as the "Venice of Portugal," this city offers travelers a unique experience. Imagine gliding through picturesque canals on a traditional Portuguese gondola, immersing yourself in an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty.

Costa Nova: This charming town looks like it’s come straight from an Instagram magazine cover. Each house is painted in stripes and has a unique color, inspiring countless photographs. The urban landscape is a mosaic of all the colors of the rainbow, bringing joy and delight to guests at every turn.

Day 7 (Wednesday)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel in Porto with your luggage.
Excursion to the towns of Braga — Guimarães — Bom Jesus — Fatima.

Prepare for a day full of exploration as we journey through the enchanting towns of Portugal!

We’ll begin our adventure in Braga, an ancient city often referred to as the "Rome of Portugal" due to its rich religious history and numerous churches. Here, we will visit the cathedral, which impresses with its grandeur and architectural heritage.

Next, we will head to Guimarães, the birthplace of the first Portuguese king. The medieval city center is a UNESCO World Heritage site, captivating visitors with its well-preserved atmosphere from centuries past.

Our next stop will be Bom Jesus, a famous pilgrimage site. At the top of the hill stands a majestic sanctuary, reached by a winding path adorned with cascades and statues.

To conclude our journey, we’ll visit the stunning natural wonder — the Grutas de Moeda caves. This mysterious and beautiful location amazes with its stalactites and stalagmites, which play with shades of color in the soft light. The cave offers a unique underground adventure.

After such an enriching day, you’ll be filled with impressions and newfound knowledge about Portugal! Finally, we’ll arrive in Fatima, one of the most renowned pilgrimage sites in the world, where, according to legend, the Virgin Mary appeared to three children in 1917.

As you check in at your hotel in Fatima, you’ll have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of this sacred city. In the evening, you may choose to visit one of the churches and join a mass, experiencing a profound spiritual connection and understanding why Fatima is considered one of the greatest pilgrimage centers in the world. This experience will provide you a moment to reflect on life, faith, and your inner self, while also feeling the magic and spirituality of this special place.

Day 8 (Thursday)
Check out of the hotel with your luggage. Departure for an excursion.
Our journey will begin with a trip through the charming provincial towns often referred to as the "Golden Ring" of Portugal.
The first town on our route is Batalha. Here, we will visit the majestic Batalha Monastery, which is one of the most significant architectural and historical monuments in the country. This is a place where you can feel the spirit of the past, its power, and grandeur.
Next, we will head to Alcobaça. This town is known for its ancient monastery, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will immerse yourself in the world of ancient religious traditions and cultural values.
Lunch with drinks.

Next stop is Nazaré. This seaside town on the Atlantic coast is famous for its stunning beaches and towering waves that attract surfers from around the world. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the fresh sea breeze and the beauty of the coastline.

We will conclude our tour in Óbidos. This small town, surrounded by fortress walls, transports us back to the Middle Ages. The narrow streets, ancient houses, and views of the surroundings from the ramparts will make your stay here unforgettable.

After a busy day, we will return to Lisbon and check into our hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner accompanied by a Fado performance. This is a unique opportunity to experience the spirit of national music and cuisine, savoring the art and flavors of the country.
