From July 8 to 15, 2025.
Here is the translation of the text into English:
In this tour, you will visit the Belgian and Dutch museum cities, where the entire history of their "Golden Age" is preserved in the poetry of the stone streets and squares, where the former splendor and grandeur of the most significant cities of Western Europe from the 15th to the 17th centuries are reflected in the slow-moving waters of the city canals and rivers.
To this day, both Belgium and the Netherlands remain monarchies and equal members of the Benelux union, as evidenced by the very acronym, which incorporates the initial letters of the names of the three countries.
In addition to the museum cities, you will visit the Keukenhof Royal Flower Park during the tulip bloom (tour from April 29 to May 6, 2025). The hotels in Amsterdam and Antwerp are located in the city centers.
Day 1. Arrival in Amsterdam – the capital of the Netherlands.
Private transfer to the NH City Centre Amsterdam 4* hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Evening walking tour of the city. Overnight in Amsterdam.
Day 2. Breakfast at the hotel.
Panoramic walking tour of Amsterdam – the capital of the tourist hotspot, widely known for its liberal atmosphere. The architecture of the Dutch capital is mostly medieval, and the city is famous for its vast network of canals, which, along with numerous bridges and beautiful views, have earned it a reputation similar to Venice. We will stroll through the central part of Amsterdam and visit the Royal Palace, medieval towers, and take a boat ride along the Amsterdam canals.
Amsterdam is home to the famous Van Gogh Museum, with its magnificent collection, as well as the Rijksmuseum.
Afternoon free time for independent exploration of the city or visits to museums.
Day 3. Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to the Keukenhof Royal Flower Park, where the world-famous tulips are in bloom at this time of year. This Dutch park is often called the most beautiful spring park in the world. Millions of tourists come to the Netherlands just for this spectacle.
Drive to The Hague (65 km), home to major international legal institutions: the International Court of Justice, and the International Criminal Court. While Amsterdam is the official capital of the Netherlands, the country is actually governed from The Hague, as it is here that the government and parliament of the Netherlands are based. The city is a blend of contrasts: a unique combination of modern styles and the creations of old masters in the historical city known as the "Palace of Peace," with the Binnenhof Square. You will see royal palaces and timeless Dutch fishing harbors.
Drive to the city of Delft, located between Rotterdam and The Hague. Its streets lined with canals and cultural landmarks make it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Delft is also the birthplace of the artist Johannes Vermeer.
In the historical part of the city, you will find the Old Church (13th century), the New Church (15th century), and the Prinsenhof, the former residence of William of Orange. Delft is famous for its porcelain production, a tradition dating back to the 17th century. At the Royal Porcelain Factory, artisans still hand-paint the products.
Return to Amsterdam. Overnight in Amsterdam.
Day 4. Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out from the hotel and drive to Antwerp (128 km). On the way, stop in the city of Utrecht (45 km), known for its medieval historical center: the 14th-century bell tower and the Gothic St. Martin's Cathedral on the central square.
Arrive in Antwerp – a world-renowned center of commerce and a major port city in Belgium. It is also a city of culture and art, famous for its association with Peter Paul Rubens, Albrecht Dürer, Pieter Bruegel, and Anthony van Dyck. Antwerp is also known as a diamond processing hub. This craft is still practiced by Orthodox Jews, who live in a compact neighborhood around the Central Station.
City tour, check-in at the Hyllit Antwerpen 4* hotel.
Overnight in Antwerp.
Day 5. Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to Brussels (56 km) – the capital of Belgium and the Brussels-Capital Region. Brussels hosts the institutions of the French and Flemish Communities and Flanders, the headquarters of the European Union, NATO's office, and the Benelux Secretariat.
Panoramic walking tour of the city: The medieval Grand Place square is truly magnificent, surrounded by 18th-century buildings and the daily flower market. From the Atomium (Brussels' version of the Eiffel Tower), there is a splendid view of the city and its surroundings. You will also visit the Palace of Justice, the Royal Palace, the Palace of the Nation, and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts.
Free time. Return to Antwerp.
Overnight in Antwerp.
Day 6. Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to Bruges (104 km) – the capital of West Flanders province in the northwest of Belgium, famous for its canals, cobblestone streets, and medieval buildings.
City tour of medieval architecture: the Town Square, the Gothic Town Hall, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, and the 12th-15th century Our Lady’s Cathedral, whose interior is adorned with Michelangelo’s sculpture of the Madonna and Child.
Drive to Ghent (55 km).
Excursion through the city of medieval Flemish wealth and commercial success, an important center of Flemish culture: St. Bavo’s Cathedral, where the Van Dyck polyptych "The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb" is displayed; visit to the Town Hall, the Guildhouse of Stonemasons, St. Nicholas' Church (11th century), and the Belfry Tower (13th century).
