Do you know what autumn looks like in Japan? Here, it's soft, warm, and colorful...
Summer has passed, taking the heat and tropical typhoons with it, but it's still quite warm. Even in early November, Tokyo's surroundings can be up to 20 degrees Celsius. In the clear air, like in a lingering "Indian summer," spider webs float around... A bit higher, in the mountains, it's cooler but incredibly beautiful. The slopes resemble a colorful patchwork quilt with spots of evergreen trees against the red and yellow hues of autumn. Japanese maples are "burning" red – sprawling, dense, and with small leaves. You can find them everywhere. If the maples haven't turned red yet in the city, by the end of October, they will certainly be scarlet in the mountains. Japanese people, keen admirers of nature, rush out of the city at this time of year to enjoy the vibrant autumn beauty.

Let's follow them...
