Dates: June 19-28, June 29-July 8, 2024.

Day 1. Flight to Anchorage. Free evening. Overnight in Anchorage.

Day 2. Ocean arm of Turnagain and Chugach Range. Walk to Byron Glacier. Travel by Alaska Railroad train through glacial valleys to Grandview Pass, and then return to Anchorage for overnight.

Day 3. Independence Mine Historic Site. Meet Martin Boozer, three-time winner of the traditional Iditarod dog race. Palmer & Matanuska Valley. View of the Matanuska glacier. Overnight at Glennallen.

Day 4. Valdez. 6-hour Columbia Glacier Cruise to Wrangell-St Elias National Park with the opportunity to see one of the largest tidewater glaciers in the world. Horce Tail and Bridal Veil waterfalls. Overnight at Glennallen.

Day 5. Walk to Worthington Glacier.Alaska Range and Donnelly Dome. North Pole with Santa Claus souvenir store. Lendlease and Discoverers Monuments and the Ice Museum in Downtown Fairbanks. Overnight in Fairbanks. 

Day 6. Discovery-3 wheeled steamboat voyage on the Chepani and Tanana Rivers. Eldorado Mine where everyone will have the opportunity to try their hand at gold panning. Pioneer Park with Salmon Bake dinner. Overnight at Fairbanks.  

Day 7.Visitor Center at Denali National Park. Viewpoints from the road where you can see North America's highest mountain, Denali, in clear weather. Walk around evening Anchorage Overnight here.

Day 8.Transfer to Seward. 6.5 hour cruise on the Gulf of Alaska in the

Kenai Fjords National Park with lunch on Fox Island. Opportunity to see marine animals: whales, killer whales, seals. Evening Seward.

 Day 9.  Walk to Exit Glacier. In the afternoon - visit to the Aquarium and the center where bears, wolves, bison, musk oxen are kept. Cable car to the top of Mount Alieska. Overnight return to Anchorage.

 Day 10.Depart Anchorage at any time of the day. For those who fly out in the afternoon, a walk on Flat Top, one of the low mountains in Chugach Park, or (for an additional fee) a seaplane or helicopter flight over the mountains and glaciers of one of the most beautiful states of our country - Alaska.   

 Tour cost - 2400 USD (includes transportation - comfortable tourist class bus, hotels, tour service, entrances to objects, two lunches, breakfasts).

Single occupancy supplement -3200 USD.      

Not included: flight and meals.

 

Arrival in Anchorage on the day of the tour start at any time with rest until the end of the day.  If you fly in the day before, let your guide know in advance so he can

to book an extra night at a hotel for you at an additional cost.

Depart from Ted Stevens Airport in Anchorage on the last day of the tour at any time (there is a free shuttle to the airport from the hotel where we are staying).
